When Nump Stole Christmas… Again

454 Toy Drive Success

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA — On December 18th, 2011 the independent record label 454 Life Entertainment brought the community out to its first annual toy drive. “We saw a local news clip that mentioned the fire departments were short of donations this year“ says Ginorocks, a film director for 454 Films, the sister company of the music label. “We just wanted the kids to have a great Christmas and be able to help some families.”
The toy drive was held at 401 North Taylor Street, a central location for many community events in San Jose. Well over 300 children came with their families and they all enjoyed free food, ice cream and free pictures with Santa Clause. “The kids received toys and had so much fun, the smiles were priceless” says Nump, one of the artists signed to 454 Life Entertainment.
The record label received over 800 toys from gracious donations. Each toy was hand-wrapped by the team at 454 Life Entertainment and was handed out with smiles. The team headed out to the streets of East Palo Alto, San Jose and several shelters to give out any remaining toys to children and families. “We randomly called over children and families we saw and gave out toys,” says Drew Deezy, a San Jose rapper and 454 artist.
Many families are suffering financially this year and one company could not allow the children to feel the pain. The toy drive and community outreach was a great success and shows the kind acts of people helping the communities.

DREW DEEZY DROPS HIS DEBUT STREET ALBUM CONNECTED

The free download was available to fans on 454 Life’s Facebook page and the hardcopy will be released on December 10th, 2011. The album features the first single, Raw Packs, which includes an original music video as seen on their YouTube page. On the same YouTube page, Fans can now preview the new music video of the 1.5 single, Make You Proud, which features veteran Bay Area rapper Band-Aide of the Hoodstarz.
Connected is filled with street anthems and true stories over original music by famed producer Traxamillion. The street album features E-40, Willie Joe, Jackie Chain, Bigg Seff, Erk tha Jerk, Billy Blue, Lasro and other popular Hip Hop stars.
